- Adult Technical Education
Open to all, adult technical education offerings provide a wide range of affordable continuing education opportunities. A full schedule of evening classes and workshops are offered throughout the fall, winter, and spring. Whether you are looking to become a licensed nursing assistant, to improve your computer skills, to hone your furniture building skills, or to learn to draw, cook, paint, knit, or speak a foreign language, our adult technical education offerings are for you!
- Enrollment in RTCC's Daytime Technical Education Programs
An adult without a high school diploma is eligible to attend one of RTCC's daytime programs as a secondary student - at no cost to the individual. He/she may also take classes at the high school but is not obligated to do so.
An adult with a GED is eligible to attend one of RTCC's daytime programs at no cost to the individual.
An adult with a high school diploma is welcome to attend one of RTCC's daytime programs on a space available basis. Tuition is charged, with VSAC non-degree grants available to help offset the cost for qualifying individuals.
- Adult Diploma Program
If you did not finish high school and prefer to attend school at night, RTCC offers late afternoon/early evening courses leading to a Randolph Union High School diploma. Courses run from October to December and from February through April.
In addition, RTCC's Adult Education Office can provide you with information about the GED and about the State's portfolio-based adult diploma program so that you can choose the option that works best for you.
